Did you like the film you wrote about? If you could, would you change it? If so, what would you change it to? Why?
We spent three weeks of class time on the final research essay. Do you feel like it was enough time? Do you understand MLA better now than you did at the beginning of the semester?
Did you like the student conferences? If so, how did they help you? If not, what could your professor have done to make it more beneficial?
Do you feel like we spent enough time on grammar and mechanics? Do you understand commas and the monster errors better now than you did at the beginning of the semester?
Consider the physical aspects of your writing. When do you write? Where? How fast or slow? Do you type or handwrite? What does that tell you about yourself?
How long is your usual writing session? How do you feel when you finish?
Isolate the elements of your writing process. How do you generate ideas and thesis statements, organize materials, write a publish, rewrite, proofread, and edit? Which part is the hardest for you? Which is the easiest?
What role did response or feedback play in your writing process? Refer specifically to tutoring and/or individual conferences. How much or how little did it affect your writing process?
What specific problems did you encounter this semester? Were you ever stuck developing an idea or thesis in writing a publish? How did you solve the problem?
How did you feel about writing at the beginning of the semester? How did you feel about yourself as a writer now? Have your views about these things changed at all?
This response should be three paragraphs.
Each paragraph must be thorough.
This essay must avoid the monster errors and implement the elements of style discussed in class.
